ABOUT Alex Swallow
Alex is a born and raised Mainer who grew up in South Portland. She attended Cheverus High School in Portland before venturing off to discover the foreign concept of year-round green grass and that season between winter and summer in North Carolina. She graduated from Elon University in 2015 with degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship before deciding to return back home to the lands surrounding her beloved Casco Bay.
Throughout college, Alex worked with several different companies in several different places. She helped out local Portland business Tiny Olive with promotional marketing and product inventory, represented and maintained a social media presence at 10 different radio stations in Raleigh, NC and Nashville, TN, learned the secrets behind running a record label at Dualtone Music Group, and created the photographic interview campaign “Humans of GrassRoots” based off of the Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance in Silk Hope, NC.
When Alex isn’t busy working at Page One, she is most likely attending shows at the State Theatre, playing pool at Andy’s Old Port Pub, or watching Quentin Tarantino movies with her Dalmatian, Tucker.
